 At Halal Pastures, our vegetables and animals are USDA Organic certified. What does this mean? The Organic certification is your best guarantee that the food we are making is made with care to the soil, the enviornment and our health.  As a farm committed to providing you with the best and highest quality foods, we use no harmful chemicals, no synthetic fertilizers, no bioengineered seeds, no antibiotics ever and no synthetic hormones. Organic certification prohibits the use of genetically modified organisms and our animals graze on certified organic grass. It also requires that farmers and handlers document their processes and get inspected every year to ensure that organic standards are met.  Our animals are truly living in  accordance with their natural life cycle. And our vegetables are grown organically so that the ecological environment around us can thrive.
