Halal is an Arabic word that simply means lawful or permitted. For meat to be certified Halal, it must be slaughtered in a manner known as Dhabiha. At Halal Pastures, all of our certified Halal animals are hand slaughtered and treated in the most humane way. We take pride in our animals and we treat them with respect and gratitude.
