Rib chops comes from the rib section of the lamb. Very quick cooking time and the most tender and delicious part of the lamb.
1 Pound package has 2 to 4 rib chops
3 Pound package has 10 to 12 rib chops
All our lamb is 100% pasture raised. Our animals are ethically raised on organic pastures without the use of genetically engineered grains, antibiotics, hormones or any other growth promoting drugs. Our lambs live on hundreds of acres in upstate New York and are rotationally grazed on certified organic pasture. Rotationally grazing means that the animals are moved from one paddock of pasture to another so that they are constantly getting fresh grass to eat.
All weights are rough estimates +/- 0.05 LBS. When we process our animals it is very hard to get an exact weight on each cut.
This is my second time ordering them because they taste great, they come packaged as two pieces a pack, which is great to portion and not thaw a whole lot for a small meal. They cook very easily and the taste is phenomenal!
These chops were terrific. Juicy ,flavorful and well cut. Finally some lamb with flavor.
I marinated these babies overnight and grilled them the next day. They were an instant hit. We ate so much of the rib chops and didn't even get a stomach ache lol.
