**Some of the products in this batch comes from a new farmer we wanted to try. The beef were black angus, 100% grass-fed, hormone and antibiotic free. While this farmer doesn't have the organic certification, these healthy animals produced amazing beef and we wanted to encourage him to get the certification. However, IsA our USDA certified organic cows will be ready for purchase in January isA.
Halal Pastures’ beef is hand slaughtered, certified Halal by HFSAA and USDA Certified Organic. Our cows are raised by small local farmers in New York. The cows live on 1,000 acres of organic pasture where they are rotationally grazed. They are raised ethically without any antibiotics, hormones or any other growth promoting drugs.
Halal Pastures’ Cows are:
*USDA Certified Organic and/or
*100% Grass-Fed and Grass Finished
*Black Angus or British White Park Breed
*Dry Aged for 10 to 14 days
*Not given any grains whatsoever
*Certified Hand Slaughtered- Zhabiha Halal
*Each piece of meat is hand cut by a Master Butcher
*Packaged by hand in vacuum sealed bags
All weights are rough estimates +/- 0.25LBS. When we process our animals it is very hard to get an exact weight on each cut.
